Our hearts were broken again by news of the Hawley family losing their gal Lucy. She came to the family from a remote Northern reserve. Mangy smelly and sick we helped to start her on her way to health and happiness and she was doing well. Just a few SHORT months of love, new friendship a warm bed and plenty of food in her belly. Lucy died in her sleep with a family that loved her IN HER OWN BED AND HOME! With many thanks to all who got her here and Meg Hawley and family for showing her that life doesn't have to be RUFF!
We lost our Hope just a few short weeks ago. I STILL find myself filling 5 bowls of food each morning
